City of London
The city of London is a
fantastic place to photograph on
location. Its an eclectic mix of
buildings hundreds of years old
nestling among modern glass
and chrome structures. With many
interesting backdrops, leading
lines and open courtyards to
shape and direct light its a
photographer's paradise for
location work.
Central London
Outside of the city, London
itself has a lot to offer.
International companies can
add geographical context to
their press releases
by using one of the famous
London landmarks as a backdrop.
Most can be photographed from
public land without requiring a
permit, the only exceptions
being Trafalgar and Leicester
square and any train or tube
station.
Canary Wharf
Also has some wonderful areas
for a location shoot. Canary
Wharf station itself and the
surrounding square is owned by
London transport who do insist
on paying a small license fee
but there are many other
locations around the station that
are fair game and will not
attract an additional fee.
